2006 - 2007 VP, ADMINISTRATION  Danielle Wong

Danielle Wong has recently joined the Business Day Group in 2006 as the VP Administration.  She is in her fourth year of the Accounting and Political Science combined degree program. After the completion of her Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts degrees in April 2008, Danielle looks forward to obtaining her Chartered Accountant designation with KPMG.

As part of the Haskayne School of Business Co-op Program, she has gained valuable experience working at Shiningbank Energy and KPMG. These opportunities have helped to broaden her experience in the oil and gas, and the public accounting sectors.  In addition, Danielle is continuing her VP Finance role for the second year with another student club, the International Business Student Association(IBSA).  This past summer, Danielle completed an international study exchange to the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.  She really valued this experience and took this opportunity to backpack around Europe

The primary role of the Vice President Administration is to coordinate all of the logistical aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities include assisting in the booking conference facilities, setting event agendas, the coordination of registrations for the golf tournament, the conference and Distinguished Business Speaker Series and updating the organization’s database.

This position requires a person who is a self-starter, detail-oriented and extremely organized. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Access) are an asset.
