Phylogenetic trees of intron ORFs
Two two phylogenetic trees are presented.
1. The first tree comes directly from
Zimmerly et al., (2001) and defines the basic classes, and includes intron ORF representatives from mitochondrial, chloroplast, and bacterial introns (see
Zimmerly
et al., 2001 for full description).
2. The second tree (below) contains nearly all bacterial intron ORFs, and was derived from the neighbor-joining algorithm of CLUSTALX (quick and dirty ).
