Graduate Training
The Southern Alberta Cancer Research Institute (SACRI) offers an excellent environment for graduate training leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. Graduate students will obtain a broad foundation in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology through study of the diverse mechanisms of cancer pathophysiology. Full members of the SACRI may supervise students in several different graduate programs, including the Medical Sciences-Cancer Biology program, the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology program, and other graduate programs at the University of Calgary. Prospective students may apply to an appropriate program, depending on the supervisors they are considering for their graduate studies.
