A State of the
Science Review and Policy Report sponsored by the Alberta Heritage
Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR).
The study, "Socio-economic Impact of Telehealth: Evidence Now
for Health Care in the Future", examines the impact of telehealth on social
determinants of health, and includes an economic analysis. The study consists of two closely linked documents – a
State of the Science Report and a Policy Report, and provides an information base to advance telehealth
policy, programs, and research.
