The Health
Telematics Unit (HTU), University of Calgary, as part of a Canada
Foundation for Innovation Grant (Dr. P. Jennett - PI), is creating and working to sustain a digital
repository of e-Health resources to support research. Because of the HTU’s past and ongoing mandate as a leader in e-Health research and
policy issues at the local, provincial, national, and international
levels, it is committed to providing access to the most current and
critical information for those working in the e-Health field.
PURPOSE
-
To facilitate the exchange of
information by increasing access to, and ensuring long-term
availability of, print and electronic resources. (The intent is not
to duplicate.)
-
Act as a national clearinghouse of
e-health materials.
WHAT
-
Reports, presentations, conference
proceedings, multimedia, and critical journal citations that are not
typically available through other resources.
Please be advised that this is a work
in progress, thus, not all of the materials have been entered and/or
uploaded. Items are being added to the collection weekly. Since the
e-Health Research Repository is intended to be representative of
activities in e-Health at both the national and international levels, we
are requesting your participation in
this initiative. Please forward any relevant reports, conference
proceedings, and/or multimedia, you would like to see captured and
stored digitally in this repository, access to which will be free and
open.
Items available electronically can be
forwarded to Colleen McPhee at
cmcphee@ucalgary.ca. If items are available in only print
format, copies can be mailed to G204, HSC, 3330 Hospital Drive N.W.,
Calgary, Alberta T2N 4N1 (Attention: Health Telematics Unit,
Colleen McPhee).
